Born and educated in India, Dr. Arora is a highly qualified practitioner. He began his journey in medicine at the Government Medical College, Jabalpur, where he obtained his MBBS in 1999. His passion for Cardiology led him to pursue an MD in General Medicine at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, in 2002 and a DM in Cardiology at the esteemed Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bangalore in 2007.
Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Arora has demonstrated a deep commitment to his patients and to the advancement of Cardiology. His expertise includes a wide range of interventional cardiology procedures, with over 12,000 therapeutic cardiac interventions to his credit. This includes a wide spectrum of procedures from coronary angioplasties to atrial septal defect device closure procedures.
Dr. Arora's dexterity doesn't end with coronary interventions. He has a particular interest in angiography & angioplasty via the radial route. He is also an expert in the management of heart attack patients, pacemaker, ICD, CRT implantation, and device closure of atrial septal defects.
Prior to joining Artemis Hospital, Dr. Arora served as Associate Director of Cardiology in Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon. He has also made significant contributions to Seven Hills Hospital, Mumbai, Wockhardt Hospitals, Nagpur, and the Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research, Bangalore.
